Role Description
The Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Sunter, North Jakarta. This role is responsible for managing daily accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing journal entries. The Accountant prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, supports budgeting and forecasting activities, and reconciles bank accounts and balance sheet items. The role involves monitoring accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate invoicing, timely payments, and compliance with internal controls and relevant accounting standards. The Accountant also supports internal and external audits, prepares required documentation, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and reports for management decision-making.
Qualifications - Strong proficiency in general accounting, financial reporting, and account reconciliation. - Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business planning. - Knowledge of relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control practices. - Ability to use accounting software and ERP systems (SAP and Kerridge), with solid Excel and data management skills. - Attention to detail, strong numerical accuracy, and effective problem-solving capabilities. - Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders. - Ability to work on-site in Sunter, North Jakarta and travel to Pondok Indah, South Jakarta (biweekly) manage multiple deadlines, and collaborate within a diverse team environment. - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA or equivalent) are an advantage. - Prior experience in an automotive or rental, multi-industry or international business environment is beneficial.
